First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether a drug called 2-HOBA can reduce immune system overactivity in people with Long COVID-related POTS, a condition causing rapid heart rate, fatigue, and dizziness. Researchers will give 50 participants either 2-HOBA or a placebo for 28 days to see if it lowers inflammatory markers and improves symptoms. The goal is to find a treatment that eases the persistent immune response driving these long-term symptoms.
