Scientists probe immune system clues in mysterious chronic illnesses
NCT ID NCT06731179
Summary
This study aims to understand if problems with a specific part of the immune system, called T-cells, are linked to symptoms in people with long COVID, post-treatment Lyme disease, or ME/CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome). Researchers will enroll 160 people, including healthy volunteers for comparison, and track them for six months. The main goal is to test a new blood test's ability to measure T-cell function and see if it connects to the participants' reported symptoms.
