Scientists scan for long COVID's hidden clues

NCT ID NCT07076862

Summary

This study uses a special type of full-body PET/CT scan to look for signs of ongoing immune system activity and blood vessel changes in people with Long COVID. Researchers will compare scans from 34 people with Long COVID to 17 people who recovered fully, and track some participants over 8 months. The goal is to better understand what causes Long COVID symptoms and to gather information that could help develop future tests or treatments.
