First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study is for adults aged 18 to 70 who have long COVID with brain-related symptoms like headaches, memory problems, or depression. Researchers will use a special radioactive tracer and PET scans to see if there is inflammation in the brain. The goal is to better understand what causes these long-lasting symptoms, not to test a treatment. Healthy volunteers are also needed for comparison.
