New pill aims to clear the fog for long COVID sufferers

NCT ID NCT06847191

Summary

This study is testing whether an oral medication called bezisterim (NE3107) can help improve the persistent 'brain fog' and fatigue experienced by many people with Long COVID. Researchers will compare the drug to a placebo (a dummy pill) over 12 weeks in 208 adults. The main goal is to see if the medication leads to measurable improvements in memory, concentration, and energy levels.
