Thailand launches major study on new, Long-Lasting HIV prevention shots

Summary
This study aims to understand if people at risk for HIV in Thailand would prefer a new, long-acting injectable prevention drug over daily pills. Researchers will survey over 10,000 men who have sex with men and transgender women about their preferences for different prevention options. The goal is to see if offering these new options could be a cost-effective way to prevent more HIV infections in the future.
