Two-Year shot study aims to protect southern women from HIV

NCT ID NCT06145854

Summary

This study is observing 100 women in the Southern U.S. who are using a long-acting injection called Cabotegravir (CAB-LA) to prevent HIV. Researchers will track how well women stick with the injection schedule over two years and monitor their health outcomes. The goal is to understand how this prevention method works in everyday life outside of a controlled clinical trial.
