Scientists test Year-Long flu shield in healthy volunteers

NCT ID NCT07225959

Summary

This study aims to see if giving two annual doses of an experimental long-acting antiviral drug called CD388 is safe for healthy adults who tolerated it well in a previous study. Researchers will check if the body starts making antibodies against the drug after repeated doses, which could affect how well it works, and will closely monitor for any side effects. About 400 participants will receive the drug and be followed for 18 months to understand how the drug behaves in the body over time with repeated use.
