Summary
This study tested whether giving focused treatments (like heat or freezing) to cancer spots in the body can help control advanced lung cancer that has spread. The approach uses a blood test to find tiny bits of cancer DNA (minimal residual disease) and treats when levels rise. 37 adults with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer took part. The goal was to see if this strategy can delay cancer growth better than standard medicines alone.
