New plug aims for Longer-Lasting fix for dangerous lung vessel tangles
NCT ID NCT06735976
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called the LOBO™ plug to see if it can better block abnormal, tangled blood vessels in the lungs. Researchers will compare how well this new plug works over 3 years against the standard plugs and coils currently used. The goal is to see if the new device creates a more permanent blockage to prevent serious complications like stroke.
