Knee cartilage repair injection shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called LNA043, given as injections into the knee, to see if it can help regrow cartilage in people with knee cartilage damage or osteoarthritis. The trial involved 142 adults and measured changes in cartilage quality and volume using MRI scans. The goal is to find a treatment that could reduce pain and improve knee function without the need for surgery.
