New treatment aims to stop dangerous gut infection from coming back

Summary
This study is testing an investigational drug called LMN-201 to see if it can prevent a C. difficile (C. diff) infection from coming back after a person finishes their standard antibiotic treatment. The trial will enroll 375 adults who have recently been diagnosed with C. diff and are taking antibiotics for it. Participants will take either LMN-201 or a placebo (a dummy pill) alongside their antibiotics to see which group has fewer repeat infections.
