First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether continuously checking and adjusting the pressure of a breathing tube (laryngeal mask airway) can lower the chance of sore throat, hoarseness, and other throat problems after surgery in patients aged 60 and older. About 146 elderly patients having non-emergency surgery will take part. The goal is to find the best pressure range to make recovery more comfortable.
