Should kidney donors get a medal? study asks those who gave the gift of life
NCT ID NCT07254546
Summary
This study aims to understand how living kidney donors feel about receiving a symbolic form of recognition, like a commemorative medal, after their donation. Researchers will interview 15 people who have donated a kidney to learn if such recognition could improve their experience and better show society's gratitude. The goal is to gather insights to support ethical, non-financial ways to honor donors.
