Who is studied

"Donor volunteers" defined as persons who contacted SBMC or UCLA to request an information packet regarding live kidney donation and then completed and returned a Living Donor Referral Form (included in the packet). Persons who received an information packet but failed to return the Living Donor Referral Form were not considered donor volunteers and were not eligible for the cohort study.
