Could financial hardship lead to later cancer diagnosis?

NCT ID NCT01626950

Summary

This study aimed to understand if a person's social and economic situation is linked to how advanced their breast cancer is when first diagnosed. Researchers compared 684 women with early-stage cancer to those with later-stage cancer. They looked at factors like income, housing, and social support to see if hardship was more common in the group diagnosed at a later stage.
