Doctors track how radiation shrinks livers to make cancer treatment safer
NCT ID NCT07320755
Summary
This study aims to understand how radiation treatment for abdominal cancers affects healthy liver tissue over time. Researchers will analyze existing CT scans from 70 patients before and after radiation therapy to measure changes in liver volume. The goal is to gather information that could help doctors plan safer radiation treatments in the future by better predicting how the liver responds.
