First seen Nov 03, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study aims to create a test that tells doctors whether a donated liver is healthy enough to transplant after being treated with a special machine. Researchers will collect small tissue samples from livers before and after transplant in 60 patients. By studying these samples, they hope to find a way to predict how well the liver will work after surgery.
