Doctors look back at radiation bead treatment for liver cancer

NCT ID NCT05240040

Summary

This study aimed to look back at the medical records of patients with a specific type of liver cancer (intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma) who were treated with a procedure called radioembolization. The goal was to understand the outcomes, risks, and benefits of this treatment by comparing it to how other patients were treated. The study was withdrawn and did not enroll any new participants; it only planned to review past patient data from one hospital.
