Doctors investigate why liver tumor treatments Don't always match predictions
NCT ID NCT07413640
Summary
This study looks back at past patients who received microwave ablation for liver tumors to understand why the actual treatment area often differs from what doctors planned. Researchers will analyze 90 patients' medical records and scans to identify factors like liver health, tumor location, and blood flow that affect treatment results. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors better predict outcomes for future patients.
