New tool aims to predict liver transplant success before surgery
NCT ID NCT07383194
Summary
This study aims to create a better prediction tool to estimate the risk of a liver transplant failing within 90 days after surgery. Researchers will analyze data from 3,000 living donors and recipients in an international registry to test existing prediction models and build a new, more accurate one. The goal is to give doctors and patients better information to make informed decisions about this major surgery.
