First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a liver transplant can help people with colorectal cancer that has spread only to the liver and cannot be surgically removed. About 20 adults aged 18 to 65 with stable or shrinking liver tumors will receive a liver transplant and be tracked for cancer return and survival. The goal is to see if this approach can control the disease, though lifelong anti-rejection medication is needed after transplant.
