Radical transplant offers hope for advanced colon cancer patients

NCT ID NCT04742621

Summary

This study is testing whether liver transplantation can help patients with colorectal cancer that has spread only to their liver and cannot be removed by standard surgery. Researchers will track 20 carefully selected patients to see if this aggressive approach improves survival and controls the cancer. The goal is to create a registry to understand if this treatment could become a new option for certain patients with advanced disease.
