Radical transplant trial aims to give hope when colon cancer spreads to liver

NCT ID NCT05175092

Summary

This study planned to test whether a living donor liver transplant could help people with colon cancer that has spread only to their liver and cannot be surgically removed. Participants would first receive standard chemotherapy, then receive part of a liver from a living donor if eligible. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled and did not proceed.
