Exercise before liver transplant may speed recovery, study finds
NCT ID NCT04246970
Summary
This study is testing whether a special exercise program before a liver transplant, and continued training after surgery, helps people recover better. It will involve 60 adults waiting for a transplant and measure how the program affects hospital stays, complications, strength, and quality of life. The goal is to see if getting physically stronger before and after surgery leads to smoother, faster recoveries.
