Decade-Long hunt for clues to liver transplant Survivors' health
NCT ID NCT04777032
Summary
This study aims to understand why many people who receive a liver transplant develop other serious health problems, like heart and kidney disease, which can shorten their lives. Researchers will follow 600 Danish transplant recipients for up to 10 years, comparing their health to people from the general population. The goal is to gather detailed information to help create better long-term care guidelines for transplant patients.
