New approach helps liver transplant patients wake up stronger

NCT ID NCT05216991

Summary

This study looked at whether using a medication called sugammadex during liver transplant surgery helps patients wake up with less muscle weakness. Researchers monitored 97 liver transplant patients using a special device that measures muscle response. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce breathing problems and shorten hospital stays after surgery.
