New test could predict liver problems in rare heart condition
NCT ID NCT07009132
Summary
This study aims to understand how poor blood flow affects the liver in adults who had Fontan heart surgery as children. Researchers will test a special liver function blood test and a heart MRI in 75 people, including Fontan patients, other heart failure patients, and healthy adults. They will follow everyone's health for 5 years to see if the test can predict future heart or liver problems.
