Summary
This study is testing whether two oral supplements can help control diabetic macular edema (DME), a swelling in the eye caused by diabetes. Researchers believe targeting liver health and body-wide inflammation may be a better long-term strategy than current eye injections. The trial will enroll 69 adults with DME to see if the supplements improve vision and reduce signs of inflammation.
