Summary
This study tested whether a daily medication called udenafil could reduce liver stiffness in children with single ventricle heart disease who've had Fontan surgery. Researchers followed 88 children for one year, using special imaging scans to measure liver stiffness before and after treatment. The goal was to see if this medication could help protect the liver from damage caused by the heart condition.
