Can a simple liver test predict cancer survival?
NCT ID NCT01796145
Summary
This study aims to understand if the stiffness of a patient's liver can help predict how well they will do after standard liver cancer treatments. Researchers are observing 207 patients with liver cancer who are scheduled for treatments like TACE, surgery, or drug therapy. The main goal is to see if liver stiffness measurements are linked to overall survival and the risk of treatment complications.
