Scientists track how donor livers bounce back after surgery
NCT ID NCT07329296
Summary
This study aims to understand how well a donor's liver regrows after part of it is removed for transplantation. Researchers will review the medical records of 90 people who donated part of their liver between 2004 and 2026. They will measure liver size before donation and one year after to see how much it regenerates and identify what factors help or hinder this process.
