New drug combo aims to shrink liver tumors for surgery

NCT ID NCT06848842

Summary

This study is testing whether a new drug called ivonescimab, when combined with standard chemotherapy, can shrink colorectal cancer tumors that have spread only to the liver and are currently inoperable. The goal is to see if this treatment makes the tumors small enough for surgeons to remove them. Researchers will also closely monitor the safety of this combination treatment in about 40 participants.
