Summary
This study tested whether adding the drug panitumumab to standard chemotherapy could help people with colorectal cancer that had spread to their liver stay cancer-free longer after surgery. It involved 75 patients whose cancer had been surgically removed from the liver and who had a specific genetic profile (wild-type RAS). The goal was to see if this combination treatment could delay or prevent the cancer from coming back.
