First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tested a special scan (SPECT/CT) to measure how well the liver works in 41 people with liver cancer who were getting radiation or surgery. The goal was to see if the scan could track changes in healthy liver tissue before, during, and after treatment. The study was stopped early, but the information gathered may help doctors plan safer and more effective treatments in the future.
