First safety test for new brain drug in people with liver issues

Summary

This early-stage study aims to understand how a potential new drug called radiprodil is processed by the body in people with different levels of liver impairment. The drug is being developed for certain genetic brain disorders. About 40 adults, some with liver problems and some healthy, will take a single dose and be closely monitored for six days to see how their bodies handle it and check for safety.
