NCT ID NCT05880173

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study is testing a way to find advanced liver scarring (fibrosis) in people who don't know they have it. Researchers will use a routine blood test result (FIB4) to flag high-risk individuals, who then get a more detailed liver exam. About 500 adults aged 18-70 with a high FIB4 score will take part. The goal is to see if this screening approach works well in the general population.
