First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at 1,578 people with a type of fatty liver disease called MASLD. Researchers used a computer program to analyze liver biopsy images and calculate a score called Ph-FCS. The goal was to see if this score could predict who would later have serious liver complications. The study did not test any treatment; it only checked how well the digital score works as a prediction tool.
