Summary
This study is testing whether an investigational drug called maridebart cafraglutide, combined with a reduced-calorie diet and exercise, is better than a placebo at reducing liver fat and body weight. It will involve about 180 adults who are overweight or have obesity and have high levels of fat in their liver. The main goal is to see how much the drug lowers liver fat and weight over one year.
