New scans aim to spot fatty liver disease faster

Summary
This study is testing whether newer types of CT and ultrasound scans can accurately detect fat and scarring in the liver, compared to the current standard MRI scan. Researchers will enroll 45 adults with known or suspected liver disease. Participants will receive the new scans and an MRI to see how well the results match up.
