Safer liver donor screening? study tests if MRI can replace needle biopsy
NCT ID NCT07015723
Summary
This study aims to see if a special MRI scan (called MRCP) is as good as a liver biopsy at measuring fat in the liver. It involves 90 people who have donated part of their liver. If successful, this could make the screening process for living liver donors safer, faster, and less invasive.
