Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see if a new computer tool can predict which patients with fatty liver disease will develop serious liver problems. Researchers analyzed digital images from over 1,200 patients' past liver biopsies. They compared the new tool's predictions against standard methods to see which was better at forecasting liver failure.
