Digital eye on the liver: can a computer predict disease worsening?

NCT ID NCT06493253

Summary

This study looked back at medical data to see if a new computer-based tool could predict which patients with fatty liver disease (MASLD/MASH) would develop serious liver complications. Researchers analyzed digital images of liver biopsies and health records from 1,578 people. The goal was to see if this tool was better at forecasting problems than current standard methods.
