New scoring system aims to predict liver crises before they happen
NCT ID NCT06523608
Summary
This study aims to test two scoring systems (PLEASE and M10S20) to predict which patients with advanced chronic liver disease are most likely to develop liver failure or liver cancer. Researchers will follow 600 hospitalized patients, comparing a new risk-based monitoring schedule to standard care. The goal is to identify high-risk patients earlier so they can receive more frequent check-ups and potentially better outcomes.
