Targeted liver chemo shows promise as potent alternative for Tough-to-Treat bile duct cancer

NCT ID NCT07466238

Summary

This study is testing a two-part treatment for advanced bile duct cancer, which is often found too late for surgery. It combines a strong, targeted chemotherapy infusion directly into the liver with standard cancer drugs given through the bloodstream. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink tumors more effectively and help patients live longer than current standard treatments alone.
