Doctors track scarred livers to map future treatments

Summary

This study aims to understand how liver disease progresses in people who have experienced a serious health crisis due to permanent liver scarring (cirrhosis). Researchers will follow 24 patients for up to 5 years, collecting information from their regular doctor visits to map the natural course of the disease. The goal is to gather real-world data to help design and evaluate future treatments for this condition.
