Targeted attack: new hope for tough liver cancer
NCT ID NCT03364530
Summary
This study is testing if delivering chemotherapy directly into the liver artery is more effective for a rare bile duct cancer when initial treatment has stopped working. It aims to shrink tumors in patients whose cancer is confined to the liver and cannot be surgically removed. The goal is to see if this targeted approach can better control the disease with fewer side effects.
