Nutrition boost tested to help liver cancer drugs work better
NCT ID NCT07412054
Summary
This study aims to see if adding a nutritional supplement called branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) to two standard liver cancer drugs helps patients with advanced liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed. Researchers will compare the standard two-drug combination with or without the BCAAs in about 234 adults to see if the supplement helps slow cancer growth and is safe. The goal is to improve how long patients live without their cancer getting worse while managing side effects.
