New Nerve-Blocking procedure tested in fight against tough liver cancer

Summary
This study is for people with advanced liver cancer that has spread to a major vein and has worsened despite standard drug treatment. It tests whether adding a new nerve-blocking procedure (EDN) to standard liver-directed therapy and second-line immunotherapy helps control the cancer in the liver for longer. Researchers will compare the new combination to the standard treatment alone in 62 participants across several hospitals.
