New combo attack on tough liver cancer

NCT ID NCT06040099

Summary

This study is testing a three-part treatment for liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed. First, doctors deliver tiny radioactive beads directly to the tumor. Then, patients receive two immunotherapy drugs (durvalumab and bevacizumab) to help the immune system fight the cancer. The main goal is to see if this sequence can stop the cancer from growing for a longer time and is safe for patients.
